THE LABORATORY 
Located at Al-Mumtaz Road Pakki Thatti, Samanabad, Lahore it is equipped with high-tech equipments like 902 Hitachi Chemistry Analyzer (a fully automated instrument maintained by qualified bio medical specialist), KX-21 Hematology Analyzer (fully automated high tech, high speed instrument used for CBC) & Statfax Elisa system. Through a complete renovation, laboratory hall has been converted into an air conditioned, interlinked working areas. A high degree of quality control has been achieved through qualified & experienced staff. The laboratory provides coverage to all medical centers of Hamza Foundation.

DIABETES CENTER 
It provides screening, investigation & awareness sessions to people having diabetes & their families. Investigations include fasting & post meal sugars, HbA1c, Lipid profile, LFT’s, Renal profile & urine examination. Checkup consist of blood pressure measurements, BMI, Fundoscopy & Foot examination. Objective is to provide best possible care to every individual having diabetes or at the risk of having diabetes.
Awareness sessions are conducted, weekly, to educate the patients & their families about diabetes, its complications, role of healthy diet & physical activity. Objective is to create awareness on modification of life style & importance of preventions of complications.
Diabetes prevention plan includes screening, BMI, data collection & providing information on identification of risk factors for diabetes to the teaching staff of various colleges of Lahore.

PUFF CLINIC
This clinic is run uder supervision of an experienced chest physian who is expert in dealing with chronic problems like tuberculosis & asthma. Most modern equipments like spirometer & nebulizers have been provided to investigate & manage the patients of astma. Awareness sessions are conducted frequently to improve the practical use of inhalers & other medications. International guidelines are followed to achieve best possible results.

IT SERVICES
Hamza Foundaion has now created IT cell to update the services & data management. Software has been developed for reception, pharmacy, medicine store & central laboratory. A very sophisticated software for maintaing patient medical history, data & followup for diabetes, hypertnesion, tuberculosis & asthma are under process.

COLLABORATIONS
An organized disciplinary approach of diabetes services & record keeping has been appriciated by institutions like Baqai Universit Karachi & University of Health Sciences Lahore. The staff & students of these universities are sharing the research work & knowledge.
